I’ve spent two decades designing, running, and evaluating health and social justice programs. While I've had the opportunity to work in many different settings--international, academic, federal & local governments--my passion lies with community-based organizations.
I love sitting down with people who have dedicated themselves to tackling wicked problems, providing them with a new set of eyes, and helping them to pave paths forward.
I am able to provide organizations with practical knowledge and skills, tailored to meet their needs, that range from designing and implementing program evaluations, to writing grant proposals and reports, to conducting and synthesizing stakeholder interviews, to assessing and improving your clients' experience and your program workflows, to analyzing and making better use of quantitative data, to facilitating critical meetings. (SeeLinkedInfor my full resume.)
I design and implement large & small, formal & informal needs assessments and evaluations at various stages of your program design and implementation.
I help you communicate your vision, actions and successes to funders, the public, and the media, including support with grant proposals and reports.
I help you build evaluation into your everyday workflow to create a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Be it quantitative or qualitative, I help you make better use of data, bringing skills in data collection (including interviews, focus groups and surveys), data management, analysis, and synthesis.
How to respond to an emerging need? to a changing funding picture? When it’s time to re-group and re-think, I can bring your team together to build a shared understanding of where you're headed and how you’ll get there.
To keep you ahead of the curve, I conduct reviews of best and promising practices around the world and investigate the local, state, or federal rules and regulations that impact your programs.
